Comfortable clothes. Layers for the evening. Shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
We drive to Kakheti. Two hours. Harvest season — Rtveli.

Cultural Context
Rtveli — the harvest. This is not a tourist activity. Families have been doing this for thousands of years in this exact valley. You are a guest in that tradition.

Comfortable but good. This day earns it.
Three years ago today, we met. We are spending the anniversary in Kakheti, around a table.

This is the Supra with all of us together — the communal celebration in Kakheti, before the ceremony.

The tamada leads the toasts. Listen when he speaks. Drink when he says drink. Feel what he is asking you to feel. You are in good hands.

Very casual. This is a recovery day.
Back in Tbilisi. No obligations.

Cultural Context
The sulfur baths have been here for 1,500 years. Alexander Dumas said they were the best baths he had ever taken. Dumas travelled a lot.
